Description

This OEM replacement part is a steering wheel cap for riding lawnmowers. The steering wheel cap is the plastic cover that is placed on top of the steering wheel, covering the main wheel bolt. If the cap has become cracked or damaged due to excessive wear and tear, it will need to be replaced. Luckily replacing this part is a relatively simple process. To replace the cap, start by turning off the power to the mower. Once the power is off, take a screwdriver or putty knife to pry off the old cover by sticking it in the crack between the cap and steering wheel. Gently pull up to pry the cap off. Once removed, take the new cap and place it in the opening where the old cap was. Push down firmly to snap it into place.This genuine replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with MTD brand riding lawnmowers.
