Description

This genuine replacement carburetor is designed for use on select lawn and garden equipment engines. The carburetor is responsible for helping move the fuel and air into the engine, as well as mixing them together to create the perfect combination for ignition. It has gaskets, diaphragms, and moving parts that could become damaged or worn with regular use. It's cheaper and easier to replace the carburetor than to buy a new unit. A Torx screwdriver will be required to complete this repair. Remove the air cleaner cover and base, disconnect the fuel lines, and then remove the screws that secure the carburetor to the engine. Take out the old unit, install the new one, and reconnect the fuel lines. Then, replace the rest of the parts.This genuine OEM unit is manufactured by MTD.
