Description

This carburetor is a genuine MTD part. A carburetor is a tube that filters the air and fuel through the valves of the engine. This carburetor works with small engine devices such as snowblowers and lawn mowers. Natural wear and tear from the usage of an engine over a long period of time can cause the individual components within the engine to malfunction or fall into disrepair. The longer that a carburetor is in use without replacement, the more likely it is to become damaged or weakened, which will require a swift replacement. Signs of weakening infrastructure for which the carburetor might be responsible can include an engine that frequently stalls or will not start, a clotted fuel bowl blocked by dirt and gunk that results in overflowing fuel through the engine's vents, a poor ratio of air and fuel that results in wheezing, hissing, or popping engine noises, or a poor ratio of air and fuel that results in black smoke pouring out of the engine.
