Description

This is a carburetor replacement designed for use on select lawn and garden equipment engines. The carburetor is responsible for taking in the air and fuel and creating the mixture of the two before sending them to the engine. The fuel and air are mixed in the inner chamber, and then passed onto the engine through a series of valves and diaphragms. Over time, the exposure to high heat, constant vibrations, and fuel can cause the various components of the carburetor to wear and need to be replaced. In some cases, it's best to replace the entire module rather than trying to replace individual components. The carburetor replacement is a genuine OEM product manufactured by RYOBI and designed for use in equipment from RYOBI, Bolens, Huskee, MTD, Yard Man, and Yard Machines. The carburetor assembly can be used with select gas-powered edger/trimmer models and blowers. It is sold as a complete assembly and includes one carburetor unit per purchase. Always drain the fuel system and allow the engine to cool completely before doing any work. To replace the carburetor, the rear cover and fuel lines will need to be removed and replaced once the old unit has been taken out and the new one replaced.
