Description

This carburetor rebuild kit is designed for use in a variety of lawn and garden engines. It contains the necessary components to rebuild the carburetor when it is not working. The air to fuel ratio is controlled by the carburetor. This mixture goes to the cylinder to ignite the engine. When the carburetor is not working properly, the ratio is not correct, and the engine does not run smoothly. If the carburetor is the suspected point of failure on the machine, test it by removing the air filter and pouring a small amount of gas directly into the carburetor. If the engine fires up but then dies, the carburetor needs to be repaired or replaced. Rebuilding the carburetor is less expensive than replacing it and can be done in a short time. Always work in an area with adequate ventilation. Remove the fuel and spark plug from the machine before starting. Remove the carburetor and replace the gaskets using the rebuild kit. Reinstall the carburetor and all the parts removed while working on the machine. This carburetor rebuild kit is sold as an individual part.
