Description

This is genuine chute assembly for MTD mowers. The chute assembly is an important part of the mower and provides direction for clippings as they exit the mower deck. The chute directs clippings to the side and downward, preventing thrown objects and debris, as well.Exposure to the elements can make the plastic brittle, and contact with objects while mowing can also damage the chute. Replacing a chute assembly is simple. Users must only raise the chute to expose the spring assembly where the chute attaches to the mower deck. Two screws will need to be removed and the chute should come free. Install the new chute assembly by following the reverse steps.This is a genuine OEM part.
