Description

This is a genuine discharge chute replacement that is made for use on select models of chippers. The discharge chute assembly is made of durable plastic. Its job is to ensure that the wood chippings are properly discharged out of the unit in a safe direction and at a safe distance, preventing wayward shavings and chips from hitting the user or causing damage. The durable plastic chute can become damaged over time and if it is not in functioning order, the chipper should not be used until it is replaced. This genuine OEM replacement will provide an exact fit for select models from MTD, as well as those from Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, and other compatible units. The discharge chute is also sometimes called the deflector, and it will require a screwdriver to replace. The part is sold individually; hardware will require an additional purchase.
