Description

This MTD link assembly is available individually as an individual component. The click link assembly fastens to the front of the mower and connects it to the mower's body. This setup keeps the deck from dragging the ground during mowing. When the click link assembly malfunctions, the front of the mower will drag the ground and create resistance. A dragging deck can make it nearly impossible to mow, and the deck could become jammed and damage the mower. The deck may begin shaking or rattling severely from excessive movement before the piece breaks completely. Replacing the click link assembly means the fuel tank must be removed. Use care when removing the tank. After completing the fuel tank removal, locate the click link assembly and remove the link pin with a pair of pliers. Next, remove the suspension arm on the frame and deck. Put the new link through the suspension arm and repeat these steps in reverse.This part is a genuine OEM product and is sourced from the original manufacturer.
