Description

This electric PTO clutch is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in lawnmowers. The lawnmower blades are engaged by the PTO clutch. When the clutch is engaged, it transfers power from the engine to the drive train. The electric PTO clutch has a toggle switch that controls it. If the electric PTO clutch fails due to age and excessive use, the lawnmower blades won't engage and the electric PTO clutch will need to be replaced. If you don't hear the noise of the clutch engaging or disengaging when you toggle the switch, the clutch is possibly going bad and should be removed and replaced.Before starting, remove the spark plug from the mower to prevent the engine from being started. Release the blade belt and remove it from the pulley to make the electric PTO clutch accessible. Remove the wire harness and flywheel then pull the clutch off the engine shaft.
