Description

Outdoor machines such as tillers and trimmers use gas-powered engines to run. These systems will have to idle without also allowing the machine to move or function. This is done through the use of a clutch that rotates the drum when the throttle on the machine is triggered or increased. When the operator needs the engine to remain idle without also cueing the drive shaft, it is the role of the clutch to keep things safe and functional. If a clutch begins to fail, the drive shaft may turn and the machine may not operate in a safe manner. This replacement clutch is made to work in a long list of yard and garden machines made by Craftsman, Yard Machines, Yard Man, Bolens, MTD, and Troy Bilt.
