Description

This is a genuine replacement front axle Y cover for a lawn mower. The front axle Y cover protects the front axle from any damage due to wear. It is held by two or four bolts that attach it to the deck. It can increase the lifespan of a lawn mower by protecting the axle. Over time, the cover or the bolts securing it to the deck can deteriorate, necessitating replacement.Replacing the front axle Y cover is a simple process. It will require a flat head screwdriver, socket extension, 3/8 inch socket. Remove the previous axle cover by removing the bolts underneath the deck. Then, line up and attach the new front axle Y cover to the deck and fasten the bolts. New bolts are not included with this replacement part. If the bolts attached to the current front axle Y cover are also worn or damaged, bolts can be purchased separately. This is a genuine OEM part and is sold separately.
