Description

This snow thrower frame cover is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use on snow throwers to protect the drive system from debris and dirt while removing snow. If the snow thrower's frame cover is damaged or broken, the machine should not be used until it is replaced. During regularly scheduled inspections and at the start of each snow season, the snow thrower should be inspected for damage. If the snow thrower frame cover is damaged, replace it with this new part.Before replacing parts on the snow thrower, make sure the key is not in the ignition and that the spark plug is not in the machine. Remove any fuel in the machine so that doesn't leak when the machine is turned on its edge. Park the snow thrower on a flat surface and pivot it forward so that it is now resting on the auger housing. Locate the screws holding the thrower frame cover in place and remove them. Set them aside to use on the new snow thrower. Remove the damaged framed cover and replace it with the new one. Reinstall the screws and tighten. Refill the gas and reinstall the spark plug.This thrower frame is a red metal part that is sold individually. It does not come with the screws used to secure it.
