Description

This air filter is an authentic OEM replacement part used in lawnmowers and lawn tractors to prevent dirt and debris from clogging the carburetor. Lawnmowers and lawn tractors are subjected to heavy amounts of air contaminants during operation. If the air filter is clogged or missing, these contaminants will reach the carburetor and cause problems with the engine's performance. The air filter should be changed regularly during the working season and immediately before use at the beginning of the season. Some signs indicate the air filter is clogged that should be noted, including engine misfiring, smoke coming from the exhaust, and an increase in fuel consumption. Before changing the air filter, remove the spark plug from the engine to prevent accidents. Wear work gloves while working on the machine. Locate the air filter covering and remove it. Remove the dirty air filter and dispose of it. Place the new air filter inside the housing and reinstall the housing.
