Description

This genuine MTD gasket kit can be used as a replacement part for the small engine of a log splitter or a chipper shredder. The function of a gasket kit is to put together the gasket for a small engine appliance as well as the seals and fasteners that attach it to the other components of the engine. The components combine to form the full cylinder head of the engine. Gaskets and the seals that come with the gasket kit prevent oil leakages. If the gasket is subject to damage that causes an oil leakage, the gaskets and its fasteners should be removed and a replacement gasket kit should be ordered to replace the broken part immediately.
