Description

This genuine MTD gasket kit can be used as a replacement part for the small engine of a log splitter or a chipper shredder. The kit contains a gasket and the fastening components for the gasket which, all put together, combine to form the cylinder head of the small engine. Blown gaskets are a common problem in log splitters and chipper shredders. Gaskets can be subject to damage that results directly in oil leakages and if this is the case, they must be removed and replaced immediately. If there was damage to one of the fastening components of the gasket as well as the gasket itself, this full gasket kit should be ordered as a complete replacement.
