Description

This is a genuine replacement lower handle part. The lower handle is used on push lawn mowers. This handle connects the upper handle to the mower. This part should be replaced when there is damage to the bolt holes or if it is bent. It is not easily worn, and therefore does not have to be replaced often.To replace this part, a 7/16th inch wrench or a 9/16th inch socket wrench is needed. Remove the upper shoulder bolt to detach the upper handle. Remove the lower handle and place the new replacement part. Bolt the upper handle to the lower handle. On occasion, the bolt connecting the handles may need replacement if worn. Any new bolts will need to be purchased separately. Otherwise, previous bolts used on the worn lower handle can be reused. If the part is bent, replacement may require a mallet to dislodge or remove the damaged part. This is a genuine MTD replacement part. This part is compatible with most lawn mowers.
