Description
This fuel line hose is an authentic OEM replacement part for various lawn mowers, tractors, and snow blowers. The fuel line is responsible for carrying fuel from the fuel tank to the carburetor. It is made of a thick vinyl rubber material and clamps onto the exterior of the lawn appliance. Although they are usually made of durable rubber, fuel lines can tear if they are caught on something while the appliance is in use. If the fuel line rips, fuel will leak from the fuel tank and carburetor onto the appliance and the operator. This has the potential to start a fire and should be fixed as soon as possible. It is recommended that all fuel be drained from the appliance before making this repair. Using a pair of needle-nosed pliers, detach the damaged fuel line from the appliance and pull it out from the carburetor and through the fuel tank. Reassemble with the new hose using the pliers.
