Description

This impeller assembly is an authentic OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in snowblowers and snow throwers. When the snowblower is in operation, snow is pulled into the auger which then pushes it toward the impeller. The impeller shoots the snow out of the snowblower, moving it out of the path and to another location. If the impeller is not working, the equipment won't function properly. Normal use and large debris can cause damage to the impeller. If the snowblower makes shrieking noises or locks up and won't operate, the impeller should be checked and replaced. Make sure the snowblower is cool and remove the spark plug to prevent accidental engine firing. Separate the bucket from the housing and remove the belt pulley. Next, remove the side auger carriers and pull the impeller assembly out. Install the new assembly and reverse the process to put the snowblower back together. Reinstall the spark plug and test the machine.This impeller assembly is sold individually.
