Description
This is an insulator assembly includes the insulator, seals, and hardware. It is designed to create the right spacing between the cylinder and carburetor on many blowers and trimmers made by various manufacturers. The insulator assembly also keeps heat from moving between the other components. Over time, the insulator assembly can become damaged or crack. When this occurs, air can reach the engine and create a condition where the engine can't perform at its best. If this happens, the insulator assembly will need to be replaced. Take off the air filter, drain the fuel, and remove the intake assembly. The insulator can be taken off of the engine before the replacement is added. Use mounting screws to fit the insulator to the other components.
