Description

This fuel line kit is a genuine OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer; it is designed for lawnmowers and other small engines. The fuel line connects the fuel tank to the carburetor. This brings fuel in for combustion. Normal wear and tear, the elements, and bad fuel can cause a fuel line breakdown. When this happens, the engine will not work efficiently or may not start at all. If there is a fuel odor, fuel leaks, or the engine misfires or stalls, the fuel line is an excellent place to check first. If the fuel line is discolored or there are obvious cracks, it should be removed and replaced. Squeezing the line can help see any cracks that might not be immediately evident. The fuel line is connected by two spring clamps, one on each end. No tools are required to remove the fuel line. Empty the fuel tank before removing and replacing the fuel line. Remove the spark plug as a safety precaution. This fuel line kit is made of flexible plastic with metal spring clips; it is sold as an individual kit.
