Description
This OEM replacement is an indicator meter for lawnmowers. The indicator meter sometimes referred to as an hour meter, is the digital display that records the amount of time that the mower has been used. If the digital display isn't functioning, or the screen has become cracked or damaged, it might need to be replaced. Luckily, replacing the indicator meter is a relatively easy job.Before beginning, make sure that the mower is off. After that, remove the upper control panel on the mower by removing the screws that secure the plastic cover in place. Once the control cover has been removed, locate the mounting brackets that attach the meter to the control panel. Pry the meter off using a screwdriver or putty knife. Once pulled off, replace it with the new meter by placing it into its connecting terminal. Once secured, reinstall the control panel.This genuine replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with MTD brand lawnmowers.
