Description

The ignition coil replacement module assembly is used in lawn trimmers. It creates charges of high pulses of electric current. The ignition coil's current sends the voltages down the spark plug wire to the spark plug and then the engine. Signs the ignition coil may need replacing include poor performance, inability to engage the machine, and unusual noises. An ignition coil will wear out with routine use, or it can become damaged with improper usage. Replacing the ignition coil in a trimmer requires a screwdriver, socket set, adjustable wrench, and star bit screwdriver. Allow the engine to cool completely before disassembly.
