Description

The ignition module coil is part of a blower's ignition assembly. The coil inside the ignition module is charged by the flywheel. The module then sends this charge through the ignition wire and on to the spark plug to start the engine. If the ignition coil fails due to age or excessive use, the engine will not crank, and the ignition coil will have to be removed and replaced.Always wear work gloves and safety goggles when working on equipment. Remove the spark plug and empty the fuel tank. Remove the air filter cover and engine housing. Remove the fuel tank and ignition module cover. Disconnect the wires and take the screws out of the ignition module. Remove and dispose of the module. Install the new module and reconnect the wires. Reverse the process to reassemble the blower.This ignition module is sold as an individual unit. It does not come with screws. This module is designed for use in blowers manufactured by MTD, Craftsman, and Troy-Bilt. This is an authentic OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.
