Description

This is a ratchet pawl assembly used in the recoil starter mechanism of a string trimmer. It engages the starter pulley to turn the engine crankshaft when the pull cord is yanked, then disengages once the engine starts. Replace this assembly if the pull cord spins freely without engaging the engine, or if you hear a clicking sound with no engine turnover.
