Description

This reed valve assembly is a genuine OEM part sourced from the manufacturer for use in two-stroke engines. The reed valve regulates fresh fuel intake into the combustion chamber or crankcase; this fuel supply is responsible for the engine's torque and performance. The reed valve eliminates backflow and makes the carburetor work more efficiently. If the reed valve assembly is rusty or damaged, the engine's performance may be compromised. Reed valve assemblies are unpredictable with extremely fragile inner parts. Normal wear and tear that causes physical damage to the assembly can impact the mixture of air and fuel coming from the carburetor.
