Description

This genuine OEM part is is a lap bar rod for riding lawnmowers. The lap bar rod helps control the riding mower's steering. If the mower is no longer turning properly or the handling is significantly compromised, it might be time to replace the lap rod bar. Luckily replacing this part is a relatively simple process.To replace the rod, gain access to the bottom of the riding mower and locate the rod. Remove the bolts that attach it to the bottom of the mower and the wheels. Once removed, replace with the new rod by fastening the bolts in their correct position. Lower the mower and start it up to see if the tractor can turn properly. If it does, the installation was a success.This replacement part is sold individually and is compatible with MTD riding mowers.
