Description

This is a genuine OEM oil seal sourced directly from the manufacturer for use in the engines of snowblowers and snowthrowers. Oil leaks are prevented using this oil seal on the worm shaft and beside the bearing-flange. It is made from durable plastic that is designed for heavy use; however, over time, the seal can become worn or damaged. Damage or wear to the oil seal can result in oil leaks and loss of engine performance. The oil seal will need to be replaced if oil is leaking from the snowblower. Replacing the oil seal will require a wrench set, pliers, and socket set. Following the diagram for the correct equipment model, disassemble the engine to reach the worm shaft and remove the damaged oil seal. Clean any old lubricant on the area. Install the new oil seal with fresh lubricant. Replace the engine parts in reverse order. Regular lubrication of the worm shaft will add to the engine's performance and prolong the life of the oil seal.This oil seal is sold individually.
