Description

This self propelled transmission is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use on lawnmowers. The self propelled transmission rotates the drive axle when the engine is on and engaged. Self propelled transmissions are easier to operate and take a large part of the physical labor out of using the mower. Self propelled transmission lawnmowers feature a lever handle that is held down while in operation to keep the lawnmower moving. When the handle is released, the drive axle stops turning, and the mower stops moving. Heavy use over long periods may cause the self propelled transmission to fail. When this occurs, the transmission will need to be replaced before the lawnmower can be used again. This self propelled transmission is sold as an individual unit.
