Description

This replacement part is a worm shaft. It features a screw-like spiral thread that is able to engage with a toothed worm wheel to transmit motion and power to other parts of the equipment.A new worm shaft might be needed if the current one is missing or damaged. Over time, the threading on the worm shaft could wear down, making it unable to catch the teeth on the corresponding wheel. If this is the case, the part should be replaced.This is a genuine OEM replacement part manufactured by MTD. This part is sold individually.
