Description

This heat shield is a genuine MTD part. It is a replacement part intended for use with snow throwers. The heat shield is part of the muffler apparatus on the snow thrower.With frequent use, the heat shield may become worn or damaged and will need to be replaced. Only a basic set of tools, including a wrench and/or screw driver and work gloves, are required. Be sure to empty the fuel tank, disconnect the spark plug, and be sure the engine has completely cooled from last use.This heat shield is a genuine OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.
