Description

This replacement part is for lawn mower spindles. Mower blades rotate on the spindle, and during eight hours of cutting, they might rotate almost 2 million times. That can put a great deal of wear and tear on the spindles, and they will eventually need to be replaced.Replacing this part takes between 30-60 minutes. A socket set and a butane torch are needed for this job. On the bottom side of the mower deck are three threaded screws to hold the spindle assembly to the deck. Use the butane torch to heat the screws then soak them with a nonflammable lubricant and remove each with a socket wrench. Then attach the new spindles. Note: the spindle holes aren't threaded so when screwing in the old screws, the screw will make its own new threads for a secure tight fit.This is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer.
