Description

This is a starter housing assembly that will work with gas-powered string trimmers or weed whackers. It is used to crank the engine and start the unit in operation. It uses a traditional rope pull to start, which is incorporated into this OEM part. This assembly includes the outer plastic shroud or housing cover, a starter pully with durable starter spring and grip, and the pull rope. This will require a moderate level of experience to install because it requires removal of the original unit and then a full installation of the new system. The tools needed include the appropriate hardware, a screwdriver, and pliers. This genuine OEM unit is compatible with MTD, Troy Bilt, Cub Cadet, and other makes of trimmer.
