Description

This crankcase cover kit can be used as a replacement part for the small engine of a log splitter or a chipper shredder. The kit contains the crankcase cover as well as the fasteners, small parts, and other associated components of the crankcase cover necessary to install it as a replacement. The crankcase serves as a casing for the crankshaft, which generates the rotational motion that powers the engine.The crankcase cover kit might have to be ordered as a complete replacement if there is damage to the crankcase cover that also affects the fastening parts that attach the cover to the engine. If the damage cannot be attributed to a smaller part within the small engine, the crankcase cover kit should be ordered to replace the broken components immediately.
