Description

This switch key module is a genuine MTD part. It is designed to be a replacement part for lawn tractors and riding mowers manufactured by Craftsman in 2010-2011. This replacement part has been discontinued by the manufacturer, so limited supplies remain.On a riding mower, the switch key module is the component that causes the engine to start when the key is placed in the ignition and turned by the user. Without it, the riding mower will be very difficult to start (if it starts at all) and may not be operable. To replace the switch key module, be sure to disconnect the spark plug, empty the fuel tank, and allow the engine to cool completely. Wear gloves that are appropriate for electrical work, as there are wires attached to the switch key.This spark key module is a genuine OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer and is sold individually.
