Description

A tiller can ease pre-planting preparation difficulties such as breaking up compact soil manually. Available in front-tine or rear-tine, this versatile machine's main component is the tines. This part is responsible for loosening the soil. It consists of four rotating metal blades in a unique curved shape in opposing directions. The standard layout of tines is that two blades are curved towards the tiller while the other two are pointing away. This blade configuration prevents soil build-up and is more efficient at digging. Even one damaged blade could drastically reduce the efficiency of a tiller. Several tines may be needed depending on the severity of the tiller tine damage.
