Description

This upper handle is a genuine OEM replacement part sourced directly from the manufacturer for use on push lawnmowers. The upper handle is u-shaped and designed for the operator to hold while walking behind the lawnmower. The sides of the upper handle are used as attachment points for various control cables that the user needs while using the lawnmower. Over time, this upper handle may become rusty or damaged due to normal wear and tear or exposure to the elements. If this occurs, the handle can be removed and replaced to restore the lawnmower to its original condition. Make sure the lawnmower is parked on a flat surface. Disconnect the spark plug. Locate the screws on both sides of the handle and remove them. Slide the handle up to remove it from the lower section of the mower. Insert the sides of the new handle in the lower part of the mower. Insert the screws and tighten to hold the handle in place.This upper handle is a black metal part that is sold individually. It is designed for push lawnmowers manufactured by MTD and Cub Cadet.
