Description

This is a genuine replacement wheel that is designed for use on select models of lawn mowers from MTD. These wheels feature a cogged design and unique tread pattern to help provide increased lifespan. Still, the durable plastic wheels can become damaged or worn over time. They may also become damaged from impact or the axle can break and cause damage to the wheel. Regardless, a replacement will be necessary to ensure the mower can operate properly. In addition to providing guidance, the wheels keep the blade from coming into contact with the ground, and in select models, the wheels set the cutting height. This is a genuine OEM product manufactured to exact standards by MTD. It can be used in select models from MTD, Craftsman, Troy-Bilt, and Cub Cadet. The durable black plastic wheel measures eight inches in diameter and is sold individually. Be sure to wear gloves and allow the mower to cool before replacing the wheel. Pliers may be needed to remove the pin holding the old wheel in place.
