Description

This carburetor kit is a genuine replacement part for select engines from Briggs & Stratton. The carburetor is responsible for taking in air and gas and mixing them before sending them into the engine. There are many inner parts and components to the carburetor assembly that are constantly exposed to pressure, high heat, and repetitive motion, which can cause them to wear down over time. If any part of the carburetor fails, the engine will not be able to perform. Replacing the carburetor will get the engine back to optimal operating capacity. This OEM part can provide an exact fit for compatible models. This replacement carburetor kit is designed for use in more than 150 engines in lawn equipment such as lawn mowers, tillers, load blowers, wood chippers, and other small engines from Briggs & Stratton, Cub Cadet, Snapper, and Simplicity. The carburetor kit includes the carburetor body, gaskets, screws, and choke assembly. Owners can test the carburetor by removing the air filter and pouring a teaspoon of fresh fuel directly into the carburetor. If the engine dies immediately after starting, the carburetor likely has gone bad. This repair requires draining the fuel system and the engine should always be cool before any work is done.
