Description

The air filter cartridge in an engine collects any dirt and debris to protect the engine from damage and provide better performance. The cartridge-style filter offers premium protection with smaller pockets and includes a wire mesh wrap to ensure ultimate filtration. The filter will become clogged with particles and debris over time. Replacement is considered a part of routine maintenance. To install this filter, simply remove the filter cover, remove the old filter, seat the new filter in place, and replace the cover. Be sure to disengage the engine when working on these parts, and always wear gloves. This OEM oval air filter is compatible with select models of engines on lawn and garden equipment manufactured by Briggs & Stratton, as well as Craftsman, Toro, Wheel Horse, Lawn Boy, and Simplicity.
