Description

This replacement air cleaner cartridge is a part that is used in routine maintenance of several models of lawn mowers and tractors. The air cleaner cartridge is installed in the air cleaner assembly to help filter the air coming into the engine before it is taken in by the carburetor. The air cleaner removes particulates, debris, and protects the engine from other contaminants. Over time and with regular use, it will become clogged and will need to be replaced.This OEM replacement air cleaner cartridge is specifically manufactured for use with lawn tractors from Briggs & Stratton, Toro, Cub Cadet, and Simplicity. The cartridge should be replaced at least once a season, or more frequently if it becomes clogged as the mower is used. Some owners purchase an extra to keep on hand in case of emergencies, as well. Allow the lawn mower to cool completely before beginning any repairs. Wear gloves and disconnect the spark plug to ensure the engine doesn't attempt to engage during repairs.
