Description

The largest factor hampering the engine efficiency of lawn mowers is the air in the air/fuel mix. This Briggs & Stratton pre-cleaner filter is a flat device that sits inside the air filter housing and purifies the air of contaminants and particulates before it even reaches the air filter. This improves the lifespan of the air filter and improves the efficiency of the engine. The pre-cleaner, because it is highly effective at removing dust and other contaminants from the air, will eventually become full of particulate. At that point, the user may notice difficulty in getting the mower to perform. To replace the pre-cleaner, remove the outer air filter cover snd locate the old pre-cleaner just inside. Remove the old filter and replace it with the new one. Attach the top cover. This is an OEM certified replacement part that was built to the exacting standard of the original equipment of the tractor. Although it was manufactured intentionally for the Toro lawn tractor, the filter is also compatible with several other brands, including Simplicity and Briggs & Stratton.
