Description

This push rod guide is designed for use with various lawn and garden equipment motors. It has a construction of plastic and metal that fits into the cylinder head assembly. The purpose of the push rod guide is to secure the push rods and keep them in the proper position. Sometimes these guides can break, become weak, or be covered in residue and need to be replaced.If there are issues with the push rod guide, remove the spark plug before removing the air cleaner assembly, oil fill tube, fuel tank, and blower housing. Any other parts in the way like muffler guards, rewind starters, and carburetors should also be removed. Take the screws off the valve cover and remove them before pressing the spring retainer and spring over a valve.
