Description

This replacement choke shaft is an authentic OEM part for over 150 different appliance engines. The choke shaft is essentially a lever used to control the choke. When the choke is engaged, it controls how much air is released from the intake valve into the carburetor. With less air in the carburetor, the engine will burn less fuel and create less power. The choke shaft extends out from the engine, allowing operators to engage the choke. While useful, this does, however, mean that it is exposed to the elements and physical damage. If broken off, the choke will be unusable and the shaft will need replacing.
