Replaced the Thermistor Assembly and also picked up Overload Protection circuit per the comments posted by the "experts" on the web site. Both parts cheap enough. I ordered parts at 3:30 in the afternoon and they showed up the next morning from half way across the country. Outstanding service. It also fixed the 9 year old refrigerator. Replacing the parts took about a half hour most of which was moving the unit from the wall and removing the panel to get at the parts.

I found the condensing fan motor would not turn with power applied. I also found a drain tube cracked and breaking.
I had to use a snub nose screwdriver to remove and replace condensing fan motor. The power wires were simply a snap on. The new drain tube just slipped on.

The old filter head was broken at the supply line side connector fell out. The clicking noise eventually caused the fridge to warm up and stop cooling. The clicking was the overload relay tripping. The Start solenoid on the compressor was an Embarco TSD part 513604044. APP does not have that part nor does any else found a similar one on ebay but I ordered the PTC assembly 6749C-0014E. For an emergency fix I installed a 3 in1 kit disabling the original start cap and wiring in the original run cap to the run winding.
Ordered the proper PTC and overload from Appliance Parts Pros and installed them 2 weeks later.
The original start and run capacitor were good, rewired back to design specs.
The original PTC had pins 1,2 and 3, the replacement had 2,3 and 4.
Only wiring change was to install the red wire from pin 1 on the original PTC to pin 4 on the new PTC.
