This is a leveling foot for a washing machine. A leveling foot is located at the bottom of the washing machine and can be adjusted so that the washing machine sits level on the floor, even if the floor itself is not level. There is one leveling foot included in this pack. A new leveling foot may be needed if the original is broken or stripped. If it won't hold a position, then the leveling foot will need to be replaced. These are very simple to replace, with the exception of needing to reach underneath the unit. These screw into the bottom of the washing machine. Never perform care and maintenance on an appliance that is powered on.This is a genuine Whirlpool part and is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This specific leveling foot is compatible with washing machines manufactured by Whirlpool, KitchenAid, and Maytag.
Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You
I wanted to take washer and dryer off the pedestal bases and realized i needed new feet Lynda B. • Perrysburg , OH • June 08, 2014
Very simple, just screwed them in, leveled, then tighten bolt.
You need a second person to tilt the washer back.
