Snapped the old cover off and installed the new one. Although this is a simple fix the hard part was to determine appliance product year. Apparently the part was redesigned after a certain year and two types were available. There is a label underneath the hood that contains various information such as serial number etc. There may also be a product date code which is what you need to determine manufacturing information. Very easy to fix, removed exhaust grill to get to motor, removed cotter pin for fan blade that is attached to motor, pulled down on fan blade to remove. Then there are four small mounting bolts, loosened them, unplugged motor, and took it out, that easy. Installed new motor.
