Researched and found a handle that appeared to be a part that would fit. Part was returnable if it didn't fit. 1. Removed the broken handle and all trim. Dry fit the new handle. a. The trim does not fit with the new handle. The chrome strip inside the handle is too short. Discard. The lower trim strip is held on with a 1/4" sheet metal screw under the plastic trim insert. After 10 years, the Start Device Part # AP4393517, attached to the compressor failed. I replaced it with the similar part, but not factory original and not sure if it is new from an appliance store nearby.
