Replaced wire harness that is terminated in a contact-shoe in one of the two terminal blocks in the cooktop. Also replaced cracked burner-indicator lights as cooktop was disassembled to affect the terminal-block repair. All replacement parts fit properly and worked well. The greatest amount of time was disassembling and re-assembling the cooktop. Replacing the wire harness took less than 5 minutes once the range top was disassembled to allow access to the terminal block. Read more

I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more
