This is the appliance's main electronic control board (PCB assembly). It manages power distribution and operating logic for key functions. Replacing a failed board can restore normal operation when the unit is dead, unresponsive, or behaving erratically. What it does
- Routes power and coordinates major loads (motors, heaters, fans, valves) based on sensor feedback and user settings
- Controls timing and modes for normal operation
- Monitors safety circuits and error conditions
- Common symptoms of a failed board: no power/won't start, blank or dead display, won't complete cycles, intermittent shutdown or clicking, erratic operation, recurring error codes
What's included
- One main control board (PCB) assembly
Install notes
- Disconnect power before servicing; allow capacitors to discharge fully
- Use ESD protection and handle the board by the edges only
- Photograph connectors; move any jumpers, covers, or brackets from the old board to the new one as required
- Inspect wiring and connected components for shorts, heat damage, or moisture before powering up the new board
