I removed the wire and rubber seal in order to get to the door lacth then I unscrewed the three screws popped out the latch put the screws and the rubber and wire back and tested the washer. The door now locks and I can wash again...YEPPPPY

The front legs were slightly worn and the rubber coverings were missing from the rear feet. This allowed the washer to slide easily on the tile floor. I replaced all four feet.
